Seesters - the first contingency

Hurray! The first of the Aunties arrived last week. We had a great, relaxing visit with Aunt Febby (college nickname) and lots of delicious vegetarian dishes that The Boy dubbed "Bethican" food. He was on quite the funny streak while she was here. During the opening ceremonies for the Olympics he was reading the countries out loud as they walked past the camera. The best mispronunciation of all time was for Mozambique, mo ZAM buh kyoo (in case you're looking for a word to rhyme with BBQ). And then there was Wii Golf - Beth and Drew went head to head. On one hole Beth putted, the ball went straight for the cup, cirled the rim, and then shot back out. She said, "Oh man, I was robbed!" an expression Drew was not familiar with. Upon explanation and combined with not quite getting it, he went on to exclaim, "I got robbed!" on every putt he missed. Knucklehead :)
Beth also spent a day with Mom. They had lunch at East Side Cafe, went to the LBJ Library, and did some window shopping on South Congress. They brought back some delicious cupcakes from Hey Cupcake - yum! It was so awesome to catch up with my seester and share baby-bonding time. Can't believe how fast a week can fly by!
