Outside Fun

Yesterday morning started off rainy and dreary. But that didn't stop the hard core garage salers. While we didn't unload the three office desks (our primary goal), we did get rid of a bunch of junk and made a couple hundred dollars. All in all a successful, if wet, morning.

Luckily the rain let up and by 3 or 4 in the afternoon the sun came out. Just in time for a little post-garage sale BBQ with the neighbors. So fun to relax with everyone! 14 adults, 11 kids (2 on the way), 2 tri-tips, and a whole mess of hamburgers and hot dogs - plus cookies, brownies, chocolate cake AND a "twinkie cake". How can you go wrong? ;) Sophie was highly entertaining with antics from trying to escape out the side gate, to diving into Katie's yogurt with both hands. The only downside was Mallory not going to bed. She knew everyone was downstairs, was not happy about being out of the limelight, and wouldn't even close her eyes. She finally gave up an hour and 40min after bedtime. Oh well. At least she "slept in" for 45min this morning ;)
