CAMParent

The cool thing about camp champions is that they have a great website called CAMParent, where they post pics and "news" each day. It also has a one-way email system so people can send letters to their campers electronically (they get printed out and distributed at mail call). Pretty high tech for camp, in my opinion. And really cool since Drew is not likely to actually write letters to us .... or even remember what they did after 3 weeks ;)

Thus far we know that the kids have had a welcome-to-camp pizza party; a "safari," where counselors dressed up as ferocious animals (including the easter bunny) and each cabin had to "tag" them while staying strung together; and a hospital hip hop dance (the kids were dressed up in hospital theme).

We've also received a phone call from one of the counselors. Drew is having fun and making new friends. They are fishing out of the trap door in their cabin floor (which is partially suspended over the lake). All in all it sounds like he's having a great time. Makes me nostalgic for camp myself!
